Hear the Crack of the Bat
Posted by Bisel Hearing Aid Center on April 05, 2013

It’s spring time again! Birds are singing, the sun is warming and sounds of baseball fill the air. For avid, or even casual, baseball fans there is little that sounds sweeter than the crack of the baseball bat. This sound symbolizes the start of a long summer of enjoyment and entertainment as well as triggers years of baseball memories back to childhood.
Yet for those with untreated hearing loss, these precious sounds may no longer be heard. As hearing loss progresses over time, certain sounds like birds chirping, raindrops and more can go unheard and forgotten. When this occurs, the individual rarely realizes it in the moment. When they try hearing aids, even the smaller sizes, many can suddenly hear delicate sounds again and realize all they've been missing.
This spring don't miss out on the many precious sounds to be cherished. If you or a loved one are in need of a hearing evaluation to determine what may be going unheard simply call us or submit your information on our Contact Us page. We look forward to helping anyone in need of better hearing.
